runnin gt30 hybrid on simtek map on accelaration turbo spools upto 0.79 then the car over revs even if only at say 4000 rpm then have to lift off and accelarate again to go any were when revs out wont accelarate boost goes from 0.79 upto 1.2+ instantly only been happening last day or so any one any ideas

 

its not your clutch slipping is it?

 

as above sounds like the clutch

 

Agree sounds like a new clutch required.

 

If your car is reving and your not going anywhere then would say you need a new clutch also. You will be on full boost at around 4k with that turbo so it would be more noticeable as well,

 

Hi all yer its the clutch had the same happen to me before xmas had to dive 50miles with it slipping o the fun just in the process of changing mine at the min just got me a 6 paddle and lightened flywheel but after taking the gear box off gave me a kick up the *** to get the engine out and rebuild it o the girlfriends not happy lol
