I recently bought a wrx turbo v1 wasent running properly when i got it hunting couldnt go beyond 3500 rpm or wld just judder n splutter this i have not long diagnosed as faulty aftermarket fpr also fuel line has been moddified to accomidate it. Has no gauge on so i swaped it over with a brand new fpr with gauge runs alot better no hunting ectbut there is still the same issue when you give it the beans it splutters at bout 5000 rpm will go past if you nurse the throttle just dumping it to the floor feels like im not getting the fuel or the right preassure have my gauge set to 40 as it says to do hears elsewere it should be set to 38 because of my injectors?unsure thou can anyone suggest what mite cause this or how i can fix?

If your mechanic advised you to fit that piece of junk i would get a new mechanic if i were you. Either get a proper reg http://lateralperformance.co.uk/sect...dc8ffd8244d88b
or go back to stock , but whatever you do get that thing off your car !
