i did do a code reader test if its the same thing and loads popped up but i cleared them all and the engine management light has stayed off while trying to turn it over but my dad who has been a mechanic for cars has said its that crank sensor
or was this an excuse due to him travelling 80 miles to do it and then wanting to go home lol

What coil pack set up do you have, is it separate coil pack with leads or individual coil packs? I've you have leads and coil pack, the back two cylinders go to the rear two points on the coil, the front two go to the front of the coil, if it's on individual coils I'm not sure of the set up! Hope this helps wiggy1
