I have already replaced the turboback with a Cobra 3" system (non resonated) and it is loud enough for me, does replacing the uppipe for a decat version, in this case a classic uppipe, make the exhaust any louder or is is simly a little more noise up front?

Wouldn't expect it to providing you don't already have CAT in it.

Current uppipe does have a cat, its the last one to go.

I reckon it would then mate... although mine's a newage it got a bit louder, I'd expect the principle's the same.

fitted one to my classic mate after fitting full 3" decat system and made no difference to the noise of my car
