Default front mount fitting on my 03 wrx?

Hello everyone,

Just wondering how easy is it to fit a front mount to my03 sti?
What's involved?

Also where's the best place to buy one from? Good quality?

hello mate, yeah i fitted on on mt blobeye really easy to fit no problems until i got on the m25 gave it a boot and the hose popped off but that was my fault for not doing the clamp tight enough.

It was only an eBay jobbie but is a very good kit comes with everything and was £170 delivered at the end of the day a pipes a pipe I can always swap out the intercooler for a branded one at a later date, and yeah had to cut the bumper as its a 3" intercooler but is easy enough to do

You have to cut a fair bit off the inside of the bumper and depending on the kit you will have to relocate or change the coolant overflow bottle. You will also have to replace or modify the bumper support bar depending on the kit.
You will also need an induction kit.

and you have to be happy to do this to your car:

hey jamie i put the japspeed cooler on my hawk sti great bit of kit for the money think ther about 250 need to remove bumper bar and chop bumper and relocate overflow tank as said above took us 3 hours to fit looks brilliant works brilliant
