Hawkeye STI Dash Clocks.
I have a set of clocks off a hawkeye STI. How do you get the needles off the face of the gauges. Tryed removing the needle from the rev counter but won't budge. Any ideas.*

Why do you want to, You need to be very careful and mark where the fuel gauge is etc.... otherwise they dont read correct when you put them back together, Not something i`d want to try, You can seperate them into 5 sections from the back without removing the needles but if you must you just have to be brave and prize them off

The ones that came on my Spec C are the kind that go dark when you switch off the ignition. The only reason I got another set was because mine didnt do the sweep on start up.
The set I bought were UK Hawkeye STI so look the same apart from the speedo reads in both MPH round the outside and KMH on the inside.
Now this is where my problem starts.
When Im doing 30mph on the clocks im actually going a lot faster than 30mph but when you look at the speed Im doing in KPH its reading 30.
So its like the MPH and KPH are the wrong way round. Any idea where ill find the convertor?

If you have uk clocks on I presume best thing to try first us to remove the convertor it may read right then, mine is on the back of the clocks but presume they can be anywhere from the gearbox sensor to the clocks, I wouldn't try to swap the dials over you will end up with 2 broken sets, I also thought spec c clocks could be flashed so the sweep works, would have thought that would be cheapest option as new ones will need mileage adjusting as well
