if you buy a genuine filter it will come with it.

Go on for sale section and you will find genuine filter for sale i think its £8.40 posted and comes with a washer too.

Here you go

Being soft copper, they're designed to "crush up" and therefore be fluid-tight. I wouldn't risk reusing the old one.

Hell, they're just pennies.

For piece of mind yeah, but the chances that it actually leaks is pretty slim in my opinion. I was workning on a car the other day with a shallow sump and that needed the washer replaced though, started dripping after the oil change so i put a new washer on it, the guy i work with said that setup will leak if you don't change the washer.

Thanks
Sam

I've used the same one for 4 years. No leaks or seaping what so ever.
