Default Urgent help plz! Scoob sport

Hi all. I've got a impreza sport classic. I have a problem that is really really bugging me now! basically Whenever i tend to break after hitting 40mph+ the steering vibrates, Then as i come to a stop the steering feels slugish as i turn left and right on the spot. I can then pull off and asoon as i reach upto 20mph + the steering still vibrates, Where as if i was to turn the car off for 5mins after this problem appears itl be fine to drive again until i re apply the break after hitting speeds of 40mph+

Does anyone have any idea what this could be? I aint very technical with cars so i really dont have a clue!...

Thanks, any help/advice would be great!

Check fluid level in the power steering.
Check the power steering belt.
Get front wheels balanced.
Check discs, look for corrosion on BOTH sides, look for obvious high spots, polished spots etc. If present, get runout checked.

defo sounds like discs are warped...that explains the vibes on braking'...as above also check power steering belt and oil
