Default max hp on standard tdo5

im thinking about spending some money on my old scoob. Its starting to feel a bit slow now especially after having a go in a mates 400hp celica.
I was wondering what is the max power you can run on a standard td05 turbo? Also what bits would you need to run that power?
I do realize the brakes need replacing asap.
The car is a 1995 wrx saloon

Dont think your ecu can be mapped plus your car wont do 400bhp without forged internals and 6speed box

Think you can push them to 350bhp

Supporting mods:

FMIC
550cc injectors
FPR
Decat
Fuel pump
Re-mappable ECU

Basically as above. Different rolling roads give different readings and some rolling roads give a different figure every time you go there. Choose your rolling road wisely and stick to the one you choose providing it is reliable.
Remember your 550 injectors have to be side feed and not pink top feeds. You do not need an FPR and fully decatted with all supporting mods that could include ported headers and matched uppipe you will be lucky to achieve 350 bhp but, and I must stress this, with all supporting mods and properly mapped 340 bhp is not out of the way.

i have had a go at porting the headers but got bored and gave up. I will have to buy a proper air die grinder and try again. Do you just remove any sharp steps and edges that would impede air flow?
I have got a non standard up pipe but not sure what size it is. I also have a 3" system with no cat but it does reduce to 2.5" or there abouts where the front pipe meets the rest on the system, is this worth cutting out and making proper 3"?

Properly ported headers combined with a matched uppipe, purpose designed to suit your turbo/modifications will greatly improve the efficiency of your engine. It will produce more torque right across the rev range, feel more spritely and willing, less asthmatic at high revs and slightly quicker spool to boot. The turbo will make the same boost at less duty cycle or more boost at the same duty cycle. If the turbo is working less hard then there is less heat and underbonnet tempperatures are reduced. Escaping heat is escaping energy/power.The choice of headers and uppipe have a major effect on performance (or lack of it)
Check this out with anyone who has bought my ported headers and uppie, all DEi heat wrapped for their particular spec.
