I assume this is the 98 Impreza again?

No other fuseboxes mate, sorry.

Checked the battery? And it's connections an earthing points?
Not gone flat because of mis-matching electrics?

Hi ...

Battery is good to go still showin 12.6v on multimeter, have cleaned the terminals ...
Earthing points are all good .. And have checked all standard and slow fuses

I've tryed a jump lead from the neg on battery to chassis also to engine and to gearbox but still no power To make sure it's earthing.

I'm totally running outta ideas

When you say "no power", what do you mean?

Are you SURE that the two car's electrics systems are compatible?

the only things that are working In the cabin are ...

Horn, interior light, door open sign on cluster, and the dinging noise when u put key in ignision.
Nothing else seems to be working
The battery is fully charged ... I have power going to fuse box .. I've checked the earths
Starter moter and alternator both have power going to also .. All checked with a multi meter.

The loom for the car was inplace when I bought the shell including ecu...
The engine I bought to drop in..it was removed from a v5 import which
Is what I have except mine is a 2 door ..

I have power

all the things youve listed will work without ignition. So i think id be looking to check at ignition switch. Do you have power going in? if you do switch on and check for power out.

What type of alarm does the car have?
