hi , i changed my rad yesterday because the top of it was cracked , but later on when driving i had steam coming from somewhere , i thought it was just water laying in the engine crooks and cranies boiling off , but had the same thing today , all hoses where replaced correctly , i was wondering if any hoses run under or around the sides of the engine that are not visable by looking down at the engine bay , thanks Dave .

No, in a word.

BUT: when I did mine, I had similar a couple of days later.

I eventually set it running, after it was nice and hot, and observed under the bonnet for a while.

Sure enough, it would suddenly start steaming.

Closer inspection showed the steam from o/s front and even closer inspection showed a pin-hole in the top-hose, which only squirted when the system got pressurised.

I took the top hose off and the inside was split.......it looked like someone had done it with a razor blade, all over.

It's just the rubber perishing.

My bet is that yours is similar.

Hope it's something simple like that for you.

But make sure you take plenty of £££ if buying a hose from a Scoob dealer
