Default Shadow Gauge kit from RCM

Just had mine fitted: boost, oil temp, oil pressure, all sensors and ancillaries and an ATI pod for about 350 quid.

I got the pro gauges, which allow you to switch between red or white lettering. The faces are available in black or white, and the needles are red.

The gauges give you peak and warning mode functions and they work beautifully.

They match up to the OE dials very well - they are v-e-r-y slightly redder if we're being fussy.

When the car is off, the gauges are black like DEFIs.

Can highly recommend them - really very nice to be able to keep an eye on the vitals so you know how the car is running.

They look great. So the quality is comparable to defi's?

I've never had Defis so I can't compare them, but I've had others from Greddy, HKS and auto meter.

Must say, I like these alot.

I only had them fitted yesterday so it's too early to pass comment about reliability but the quality seems good so far.

The ATI pod is excellent.

The shadows have a peak hold and an adjustable warning so they're not far off the Defi's functionality.

They(Shadow) have peak and something like peak recall function, plus adjustable warnings like other cheaper gauges(Prosport,SAGA,AutoGauges etc.)

DEFi is different league and cost twice/thrice more than comparable Shadow Pro BF..

In quality both gauges and comparison both gauges, time will tell which are best and which are just ****
