Default Is there an easy way to remove the HT leads from a Turbo 2000, W registartion?

I have been doing my spark plugs today, well 2, and the HT leads are extremely hard to pull off due to space.

I had to use some long nose plyers to grab the red rubber and pull, but i don't like doing this.

Is there an easier way?

It just so happens that one of my HT leads broke also, the inside that clips over the plug broke off somehow.

Thanks

Hi mate i did mine yesterday afternoon replacing the pfr6b's with pfr7b's.I found the passenger side dead easy once the washer bottle & battery was removed. The drivers side rear plug was a bit tight ,but after removing the airbox and being able to get a good grip on the plug lead head after twisting and pulling it was free.

Removed the air box, battery and moved the jet washer reservoir. Was a lot easier with the space, easier than from the underneath.

Thanks

plugs make much of a difference?

i was contemplating changing mine as current pfr6b's need regapped - get plug blowing out/hesitiation occasionally on full throttle 2nd on a cold day - though my car is just running the ppp ecu so only boosting up around 1.1-2 bar tho not sure if its worth investing in the 7's

Start a new thread, you'll get more replies than tagging onto an old one on a different topic.

Too early to say at the momment , but pfr6b's are for a std classic running 215 bhp , so by then upping the power by 50% I figured that a cooler running plug would not do any damage. I am glad I did as the old plugs were 11 months old and had covered 3K, bit still looked worn . I will post pics up later
