A power fc is a mappable ecu which is fitted in place of the oe ecu . It is better known as a apexi ecu which you will need the commander as well.

like the z4s and simtecs that are doing the rounds on the forsale section?some are already mapped is it worth buying these depending on what mods have been done for the map?

you will still need at least a map tweak even if you get one that as been mapped for similar mods

a pp chip would be the cheapest option and would see you some where near your goal (with supporting mods), but a standalone ecu would be best as its custom mapped to your car. mappable ecu's start from £150(esl) and go up to what your pockets allow. mapping fee's are different to who you use but are generaly around £300.

mr green monster will see you right there
