Changing the hub PCD

Changing the hub PCD
Anyone done this?
Or know of a good reason not to?
Standard 2003 hubs 5x100PCD, but what if the hub plates were machined with five additional holes for 114PCD?
The studs are just push in items anyways as far as I'm aware so shouldn't be a problem.
I know you can usually buy wheels with the correct PCD but id like some wheels which are only available I think in 98 PCD.
I await to get slated now

Almost correct....
The studs are splined, thus implying that the hubs holes are too !
Nice try tho'...
dunx
P.S. If you are sure the offset is correct, then it will be possible to do all four hubs, at a cost....
