Default Spec C Turbo - Noisey?

I've just collected a 2006 Spec C Type 20, which was previously owned by another forum member.

It's a trully mint car in superb condition throughout and I'm chuffed to bits with it.

However, coming from a 2.5L STI I've noticed that the turbo is quite noisey.

It pulls very cleanly and there's very little lag, but on a part throttle it is quite rattly and you can hear it rattling a little as it winds down from boost if you come off the gas.

There is also a slightly harsh edge to it if you give it full boost from low revs.

I this a characteristic of the Spec C turbo or do I have a problem here?

Make sure it's not the turbo heat shield that's vibrating. Due to the quirks of resonance, it may not vibrate with revs rising, but do so as they drop!
