Hi all

Just got a 3 port boost valve/solenoid.

Will my standard v7 wrx run this ok? Or do I need to change something in the ECU?

I know the car will need mapping to make.most of it but till I get a spare hour with my mate I was just gunna stick this on ready for him.

i wouldnt put it on until its ready for the map, but should work ok

 

Also wiring wise I have 1 black and 1 red wire coming from the 3 port and then the car loom is 1 black wire with a white tracer and a yellow wire with ablue tracer

Is it black to black? Red to yellow?

 

i would get your mapper to fit it just before u map it.. it only takes 2 mins to fit ,, and from what i have been told under no circumstances should you drive with it on without a map...

 

Mate is my mapper so he will make me fit it but will leave it til night before

 

i dont mean to be rude mate .. is your pal a well experianced mapper. i would hate to think the old "i know what im doing mate".........BANG ... was to happen. a good experienced mapper would fit the 3port in minutes there and then....

 

He knows what he is doing lol very clever chap his evo is 500+ and he has mapped many any cars his day job is keeping things in space lol

He would fit it in minutes as will I lol
