WR Sport over boosting
Hello, I have an issue with my 2000 MY WR Sport. The car is the same as an RB5 but with all the prodrive options. It has the prodrive ECU with 237 BHP everything is standard. I have recently noticed that in 4th and 5th gear when accelerating it has intermittent boost. I attached a boost guage and noticed it was overboosting to 1.25 bar then the boost was cutting out down to about .7 bar and then building back up to about 1.1bar. I have checked all the pipes and intercooler for leaks and replaced the spark plugs and gapped them correctly. Can anyone help?

Had this problem and it turned out to be the boost solenoid needed a good clean out, cured the problem (also an MY00 PPP'd car), search scoobypedia for how to clean these out.
