Default Which route

Just wondered what route is best for the money?
My car is 95 wrx wagon
Option one is td05 and z4 ecu
Option two is just get my car mapped by esl with td04
I've read somewhere the td04 will spool really well?

The car has full decat and panel filter.

Thank you

A z4 is rated at 260ps. You will get more than that with the td04 and ESL as well as all the other benefits (twin maps, mafless, etc). Your td04 will spool early, However td05s are pretty cheap and give you 330hp potential.

Thanks for reply, that's all I was looking for, also the td05 has the potential for 330 but what else would I then have to upgrade, I'm hoping to do a bit at a time you see, if the esl remap sees me at around 270 with the td04 I think I'd be happy at that and then start on arbs, suspension, brakes etc.

I know nothing is reliable but I'm guessing under 300 is more reliable than over 300hp as its a standard 17 year old. Thanks
