Default Engine Re build

Hi my baby is getting close to 98'000. I'm thinking about engine rebuild befor things start going Wong . I'm in east Sussex is there anywhere I could take it.

It's just stilly things going on it at min like rocker covers . Was just thinking in long run be cheaper to do hole lot done ?

Based in Hastings - I'd give Tone at Jaffasport a bell and see what he advises. Other option would be Brent at SMD in Newhaven.

For an engine build, it's worth going a bit out of your territory to get the best. It's not something you want to get done twice!!

APi get my vote.

Give David a phone and he'll tell you whether it's worth your while to get the build done now or just drive what you've got until it breaks!

To rebuild it while it's running ok is a good idea, you could put a set of rods and pistons in it with new bearings etc, this would cost alot less than if it goes bang. If it rattles a big end you will then need a crank and modine as well, that would cost you an extra £500+, theres also alot more time needed to prep/clean the engine after a blow up.

as above and go forged while you are there, virtually the same cost anyway

I would have to say if you have the money get it done check API mate great company friendly and all ways willing to help even just for info . David is a nice chap who allways willing to help , Si who was my piont off call when I was haven my build couldnt ask for better Quick turn around and was very paicent with me getting the money together worth a look mate
