There is a lot of info on here some good some bad. If you read something on here don't take it as gosspel have a good read through and come to your own opinion. One being oil changes and how to do them. Personnally as you are in Stirling take a trip to AWD Motorsport in Perth, just be careful as Grant is quite good at extracting money from you. I used to call in when i worked near Inverness when passing usually spent 50 to 100 pounds each time. Main thing is don't try to do things on the cheap you will probably spend twice.

Thanks guys. Yea I love the scoop. I think it's pretty standard apart from a de cat, cat back exhaust, panel filter and bov. Any ideas on what bhp I could be getting? Here's a picture of the beast

Lovely mate. Very similar to mine. Quite fancy some black mudflaps too. De-cat and remap will be my first mods this summer. Sure yours will be around 330bhp with remap. Great stuff!

Have you had the map checked for fuelling?

Oh, and lose the vta bov, go back to the one the car will run better with: recirculating

As far as I know it's not had a re map. Does that mean I won't have the full benefit from the mods? It did have a full engine rebuild about 15k miles ago new turbo etc. I like the sound of the bov too much to take it off lol

BOV's are like marmite on here mate! Lots of folk say they cause engine problems etc. Used to like mine years ago on Series 1&2 RS Turbo's but having researched on here i've decided to avoid like the bubonic plague. Defo recommend remap if you are running decat exhaust. I'm saving to have both done on same day.

Yea I will need to look into the prices for a remap. Is there any other essential mods you'd recommend? I think the first thing I will do is fit a boost gauge
