That was the kind of sarcastic answer my spotty 15 yr old would have given me..
so you have just wasted both my time and yours tbh, so thanks for nothing

So then is there anyone out there who can answer my question please without any condescending cr@p!

I have heard that the prodrive pack came with upgrades including the ecu, tmic and y piece, plus some other bits, can anyone list the upgrade parts please and not just post a stupid link showing power gains..

Hopefully there are still some intelligent chaps on here who can answer my question.
cheers.

wrx btw.

ummmmmmmmm your first post stated prodrive pack. there were 2, the performance and style. the ecu was just remapped and an upgraded y piece fitted on the performance pack. which pack do you have ?

Merlin the ppp came as a option depending on what you chose , the engine performance pack came as a new ecuwhich was calibrated to increase power & boost torque , a prodrive Y pipe, prodrive sports cat, & backbox and no centre cat at the downpipe .

Powerwise iirc was 265 on a wrx & 305 bhp on a sti.

I dont think they did the options package like on my late classic where you could have the engine pack or the driving pack or interior/exterior pack.

excellent cheers, finally getting somewhere...

i dont need this for any particular reason, was just interested in what was different.
Looking at the pic on prodrive webby last night it shows an end can and mid section, a y piece and the ecu, i was also told the up pipe was changed, but no pic of that.

I assume i have to contact prodrive with my certificate number to find out what was done.
like i say was just interested. Didnt realise there was 2 diff. packages though, cheers for thatand cheers for sensible reply

Question if i may, my 02 bugeye wrx turbo has the PPP from new, it has all the above mentioned bits including a 2nd de cat etc. I was going to fit a different downipie hoping to release a few extra horses, but does it have a sporty downpipe fitted as above mentioned ? and would that be the same downpipe the 305bhp STI has ? Dont want to waste my cash on something thats not needed.

MadMerlin, if you had checked all the links posted, you would have found "all" the answers without losing the plot.

Seems the "Mad" part of your username is quite appropriate

ppp only changed 4 things from the standard car. it would make sense to perhaps swap to an sti if more performance is wanted. the sti is a very different car to a wrx... consider brakes and suspension and many many other things.

So in conclusion, any Certificate issued by Prodrive/Subaru relates to the Prodrive Performance Pack, of which you asked for details of what was upgraded.

All the links posted by myself, DT-SPD and craigo pointed you to the Prodrive pdf files, which if you had read them, give details of what it was and what was replaced/upgraded including recommendation for 18 inch wheels.

Any other prodrive upgrades don't come with a certificate unless you had the full WR Sport treatment. (Which I think was only available for the classics)

It's a good job your mate Midnight is a mind reader , the rest of us just get abuse...................................

Well said Don Clark

Madmerlin,

Not quite sure why I got such an abusive response from you, I simply answered your question and asked if you had tried searching ?? Not an unreasonable question, bearing in mind the 2003 MY PPP kit would have been discussed many times before, in fact a quick search on Google revealed the details needed to answer your question.

It now appears that you wanted an answer to a question you didnt ask

Suspension is about 25mm lower on a ppp sti compared to my standerd sti guessing it's different springs

Springs are an option and not part of the 'PPP'. PPP is exactly as stated a performance pack, components have aleady been linked. 'What do you get with the Prodrive Pack...?'... not much bar some mythical bhp figures and a large invoice
