Sigma M30 problem helppp
Hi Guys,
Think I posted this in the wrong section before oooppss
Recently bought a nice Hawkeye off a fellow member on here.
Tonight I was having a mooch through the alarm manual and found the super lock function, and thought I'd give it a whirl.
I checked in the manual to make sure I had the code and armed it with option 9.
I came to dis-arm it with the code and the alarm kept going.
Tried it a few times to no avail.
Literally stuck with the worlds fastest paper weight.
Any ideas, options would be greatly appreciated....
Thankings .....

What happens to the red led on the keypad when you enter the code does it flash rapidly or just one flash
If its rapid you don't have the correct code maybe check with last owner and see if he changed the code
If single flash right code try doing it slower and make sure the led flashes after each digit is entered

Thank you very much Adrian..
Unfortunately I think it was a rapid flash, I will double check in the morning.
Hopefully the long time member I bought it off will be able to find the previous owner, as he has never used the feature nor the alarm code.
If it is the case that I can't retrieve the pin code do you know where I go from there ?
Can I remove the alarm, disable it for now ? Maybe get it reprogrammed or something ?
Very new to this, so still sponging up any info I can get.
Many thanks again

There is a way round it but you need a very early sigma programmer with software loaded on a pison last time I had one was about 12 years ago when secure Microsystems owned sigma when they got brought out most were replaced with the cp1
The easiest way round it will be to replace the CPU and make sure you have a code
God only know why that option was left on the finished system
There is another way but you need to short out a chip to disarm the alarm but won't go into that on public forum

You checked thishttps://www.scoobynet.com/scoobynet-...igma-alam.html specifically:
A. Using a working Radio Key:
- Arm and then Disarm the system using a working Radio Key.
- Within 30 seconds of disarming, type into the keypad- *17856*92*wxyz*wxyz# (where wxyz is your new PIN code)
- Arm the system with the Radio Key
- You should now be able to disarm the system using the new PIN code

That won't work as its in lock out mode and only a working pin code will disarm the alarm
The idea behind the lock out mode is to left the car armed so if someone did get hold of the remote keys the alarm will ignore the keys until a working code is used at which point you could carry out the above programming

1) If he had the pin code he should be able to reverse the process and disarm the car.
2) If he doesnt have the correct pin code (but thought he had) then it may not be locked out.
Currently it looks like he hasnt the correct pin, or he is inputting the code wrong.
If you see my point.

AJF just checked the manual here http://www.scoobypedia.co.uk/uploads..._m30_codes.pdf i now understand you dont need the pin to switch on the superlock. (I thought you did) Therefore, obviously he hasnt the correct pin........ or isnt entering it correctly. (you know its a bit fidly)

Not when you wrote the manual and knew the software writer and got the system thought insurance approval
Super lockout was only add as one of the owners of sercure Microsystems at the time had heard about people breaking in to houses to get keys when owners where away and loading the car with items and having it away
Always thought the idea of switching ign off and pressing 9 before the immobiliser cut in and then arming with remote was a bad idea if the code had to be entered would safe guard against the op problem
