Question Importing an Impreza

hi iv came to the point where i cannot find what im looking for and i think i might go down the route of importing a vehicle.

has anyone used graham berry car importers in japan?

or what website/company have you used before?

im after a v2 sti type ra btw

I bought my type r from graham berry, it was my mate who delt with them as he has bought a few cars from them. Car was just as described! Would recommend buying one from them

im thinking about it too, i cant find any i like in this country (well that are for sale)

im unsure about importing prices etc? and currency conversions etc

I think the exchange rate over the last few years has stopped people from doing it.

You could pm juggers on here as he was into importing cars.

iv looked at graham berrys stocklist of sold cars, the car i want he has sold a few in the last year and equal about £2000 without shipping/import tax etc.

iv emailed the company to see if they can get one in and what the all in price would be

Would be more sentimental noing that you brung the car over yourself and know most of the history.

yeah very true Adam, iv been onto a company called ralliart in Riseton, they advertise alot of imports on pistonheads, they say they will be able to get me one in for £4k max and itll be a fresh import!

so itl be the same thing really, its been imported for me, and im first UK owner, so itll be all mine haha

but ill still keep looking in the meantime, incase the one they get me isnt mint
