Default engine rebuild

Hia guys...going to open the engine next week and what's wrong with it as it burns oil. We've changed the turbo cause i thought that might be the issue but it didn't help.So i need some advice what else needs to be changed when changing piston rings?I'm also going to change all of the gaskets and clutch...but I'm affraid that there might be some piston damage aswell ...but don't wanna go for forged ones cause i'm quite low on budget cause I'm getting redundant at the end of the month...any place where can i buy stock postons...conrods...etc?...cheers for belp chaps.

i thought forged pistons were cheaper than standard ones, unless you buy used standard ones

in a way of things to change because its burning oil, check or replace your valve stem seals, its not a common fault but while i was rebuilding mine seems worth while doing while you can get to them just ensure obviously you make a note of what valve goes in what hole and to lap them properly stem seals are exceptionally cheap too

Before you rebuild it make sure you identify where the problem is, otherwise its guess work and you will be pretty hacked off if it doesn't fix it.

And make sure you hone your bores before you put it back together. We've got a large selection of second hand pistons for £20 each. We do the piston ring set for £135. We can also do you an Exedy clutch for £150 and we stock all the other gaskets you will need if need be.
