As the title says.I currently just have standard etc exhaust with the 3 cats on and prodrive back box. I purchased a 5 inch scorpion angled back box and now looking to fit.only because I like the look.

Does anyone run one of these or similar.I have lots of track days coming up and don't want to have to run it with the bung in and lose power.

 

Can't imagine a scorpion exhaust being to loud. Any pics?

 

I've got a Hayward and Scott cat back system without the resonator pipe in 3" with a 5" jap angled exit (no bung) and it comes in at 96dbs on my 05 blob WRX, which I'm lead to believe is OK for track use. Only other mods at the moment are intake silencer delete, cotton filter and remap.

 

I once had a scorpion 5".suzuka fully de-catted, couldn't hear myself think.!

Now have a group n tsl and ticks all my boxes.

 

If its just the backbox and you are keeping all your cats then you won't have an issue at all I don't think

 

I run a full scorpion exhaust system on my hawkeye. Not too loud at all and thats with a decat downpipe. Makes the car sound like it should!

Its your old box that I was looking to fit. Still havent got round to it. What am I like.

 

Does anyone know roughly how much power you lose from running with the bung in.

My mate has mentioned 40bhp on his evo. He is not too bothered as he is running up in the 400's anyway. On a WRX power is rather lacking so I dont want to impede it if possible.
