The mines ecu are thought of as being dangerous to run as they are for 100 Ron fuel and very aggressive ignition timing.

They are not reccomended as are quite on the edge, mind you some cars have been known to run ok and there are a couple of stories of pistons melting etc etc

When I first bought my car I got one of these Ecu's but decided not to fit it and glad I didn't.

At the very least go to a rolling road to check the fuellings ok.

You will need to run v power plus octane booster minimum, anything less and your seriously risking your engine.

Chances are, its going to blow your engine to smithereens.

I had a Mines ecu on my car for 2 years and never had a problem. Some people will say there quite aggressive but as long as you keep to 99ron its all good. Mine was only a U8 ecu which raised boost from 0.6 to 0.9. Now i'm running a Prova chipped z4 which boosts to 1.1.

This was my old ecu

I'd love to put the mine's chip in my reader and see what the real values are!
So far I have a Prodrive tuned 6k ecu, and a Prova tuned z4 ecu.
Anyone want to sell me one?

here is a prova map:
