Default Best heads for big power build ? v3 ubs vs P1

hi i have a P1. i need to get an front engine bay loom. my question is though. what are the best heads to use for a big power build. if i use my v3 underbuckets. i can get away with using a modified uk loom. if i use P1 heads ill need a 2 door loom. which are the best for over 500bhp? thanks people

How much over 500? 501, 550, 650? Most heads will need porting/cams to get seriously over 500.

too shy....

SMC - on a serious note you spoken to your mapper as to their opinion? Or even the engine builder who would carry out your build? They are probably the best people to see advice from as to what is best for you. I did this and it means everything ends up working nicely together - you get your hp numbers and times.

What ECU do you have/goingto upgrade to if not already done as that will play a crucial role at the end.

Always gd to have input from both your engine builder and mapper. Latter will be able to give you an indication as to what to expect.

If a "Specialist" is advising, you shouldn't really need to ask, second opinions are useful though. Syvecs ECU will control everything you need and more.

IIRC Andy F used little port heads on his last race car.

yerr weve got our mates ra down to 804 kilos. so hoping the 2 door will go that little bit further...

keith at scooby projects has sold me the car and helping. graham sweet is available for engine build advice as well. he supplied v9 rear thrust block and advised on engine build of my mates ra.

the original reason for the question was because of what loom i could get away with in a P1. but sourced original P1 loom yesterday. thanks anyway guys avcs it is
