simtek vs solaris

quick question people whats the diffrent between the 2 ecus.
my current classic scooby i have had simtek fitted and mapped by steve stimpson however i have bought another car as spares and it is fitted with solaris ecu so trying to get advise as to which is better and advantages and disavantages between the 2.and is it worth taking out my simtek and fitting the solaris ecu

I think you'll find it's a bit more than that even in it's most basic form.
Ecu £1249 + £39 for the Cal switch vat + carriage = £1557.60 + mapping at an average cost of £350 for a one fuel map, more if you want to run two fuels.
It's £2000 however you look at it, but it is an excellent ecu.

Syvecs £1500+VAT fitted and mapped..
Simtek does a good job, and good if on a budget, syvecs is better but costs more..
Unfortunatly like most things it is dictated by your budget.
