Default Measuring spool difference

Hi guys,

Could anyone tell me what difference in rates of spool is expected when measured at turbo versus measuring at manifold?

At turbo i'm getting 1 bar by 4k rpm and at manifold i'm getting 0.5 bar at 4k rpm.

This is not a stock turbo, i'm only interested in knowing if this sort of difference is to be expected or should i start looking for leaks ?

Thanks!

At a guess i would imagine that you would expect a slight pressure drop across the intercooler. Also the air in the turbo is hot, as it passes through the intercooler its cooled which can also explain why you get a reduction in pressure. But by how much im unsure, might be worth checking for boost leaks if you think your down on boost pressure.
