quite slow to get to optimal engine temp?
i wouldn't call late april particularly cold at all, but when starting my car up it takes a good while for the temp needle to hit the comfortable middle, it would be on cold (or below cold!) for a good time.
the coolant level seems to be okay, checked the overflow and theres coolant in there and the main place under the metal cap, is full to the brim.
the heater blows hot air out after 30 seconds, cold air is cold. i recently i filled up the overflow with shell coolant (blue one) in a 50/50 mix with deionised water, after filling it up the heater blew hot within seconds but not any more.
if it was leaking coolant, it would head towards "H" wouldn't it?
is this any cause for concern?

i don't think there's any leaking (or hope not!) but i've been for a drive and the temp hasn't spiked into above halfway territory.
there is water in this pic but not entirely sure if its rainwater (grr london!) or a bit of coolant i accidently spilled while topping it up :/
