Default Crank Sensor

Hi all im doing an oil change at the weekend and i've read it's best to remove the crank sensor. I know their has been alot of debate about doing this but im going to anyway(better safe than sorry). Is it ok to remove by the single bolt and take the whole sensor out or shall i just to unclip the connetor? I've read the connetor is prone to break easily due to corrosion and can be a pain to get off. Thanks

Cam sensor on the nearside top of the cylinder head by the oil filler tube is easier to unplug

Just crank the engine with your foot to the floor.
Suggest you try this with warm engine the first time.
