Default worn shock or something different?

hi....98 sti type r running kyb agx adj shocks, tein springs with 18"x7.5 et48 rev millenium wheels,(215/35/18).
just lately noticed a bit of arch rub,but only on one wheel, ive had to adjust the shocks up to level 6 on back and level 2 on the front which is fine by me,but i get arch rub on one wheel on the rear whilst cornering and the tein springs are almost new,so i think the shock on that corner must be fooked as it also makes a slight quelchy noise over small bumps.
would you agree that that shock sounds tired out?
also when i adjusted the rears the adjustment dial on the one causing the problem seemed quite a bit easier to turn than the other one.
my thoughts are fooked shock?
any help appriciated as always.

but only on one wheel?
when i first fitted the shocks i noticed that the rear passenger one made a slight squelch noise(quite noticeable from inside and outside the car),none of the others made that noise and also the adjustment dial dosent feel as good and precise as the other rear shock,if it was the tyre size then surely it would happen on both rear wheels or even all of them?

I only suffered tyre rub on the drivers side under fast cornering on 215 and that was on brand new prodrive bilstien shocks with 50mm inserts

i dont understand why on one corner only?,having said that...i dont even have to be cornering very hard at all for it to happen and it only seems to do it on the rear passenger side,i can corner fairly hard the other way and dosent seem to do it on the drivers side rear!

right, ive bounced the car as much as i can on each corner, the one that im getting arch rub on has a gassy type sound which certainly sounds like a shock absorber noise. none of the other shocks make this noise.does this mean that particular shock is faulty?it dosent appear to be leaking or knocking.
