I think bikes are ok, as you say no front plate, but get seen too many times in the same place I'm sure an unmarked car will be hanging around.

I would be inclined to believe the above but am not advocating speeding!

The reason I say this is the amount of times I have been overtaken through them idicates someone knows something I dont!!!

There is about a half mile bad bend section of the M60 that has these average speed cameras and I have been overtaken that many times that I thought they can't work and these 'regulars' obviously know it but I since know a couple of people who have received the usual paperwork and a fine and points for going over the 50 mph limit. I still get overtaken regularly but just smile deviously at there cockiness ( it is a bad bend! )

People `in the know` will know which are working and which aren`t. Apparently it`s only a small percentage that actually work at one time

Oh and just one more thing for 2 wheeled road warriors to get away with

alcazar, car speedos are not always 100% accurate. In a hgv they are spot on and get calibrated periodically. I overtake loads of cars in these areas at work doing bang on 50 . Also consider the foreigner hgv drivers dont give a toss as plod isnt going to chase them up for £60 when theyre back in bulgaria
