I have HSD coilovers fitted on my Impreza GC8, is each coilover specific for each corner?

As you can see on the rear the top mount touches the chassis and yet has less camber than the other side, now i'm wondering if they should be swapped over to the other side?

What way are yours fitted, is the measurement scale on the top or the bottom?

Why are the measurement scales on the rear at different ends, if you look at the driver side rear the measurement scales are towards the front of the car, whereas the passenger side measurement scales are towards the rear of the car? Both the front are facing towards the front of the car.

If you have these fitted can you check yours for me please.

did you get anywhere with fitting these bud? im thinking of buying the HSD DT coilovers from drift works are they any good? thanks mike

 

Yo man, i have the HSD HR coilovers and i've have them fitted over a year.

I bought mine in a group buy on the Driftworks forum around christmas time and got them over £100 cheaper, you might want to have a look on the site and ask about any future group buys.

Problem wise they have been very good, i found that the colar came loose on one side but if you give it a firm tightening then it's fine, i had to use a hammer and lump of wood to give them a good tightening.

Other than this i have had no issues and highly recommend them.

As for the problems above, this is simple becuase my chassis isn't sitting 100% central, i don't believe they do on many cars, but i may be wrong, this is why one side can't get as much camber.
