Default Air/Oil Separator -any info?

As per title....could do with educating and real-world use not just from the manufacturers....
Does any one use one?
Useful?
Pro's/Cons?
Sounds like a catch can? less efficient perhaps?

seem quite dear but neat and tidy?
Seen pics of the Grimmspeed and Tomioka.

My Tomioka Racing one seems to work quite well. I added some stainless steel mesh around the centre core to increase the surface area for the oil to separate out onto and drain back to the sump. Saves having to keep an eye on the level in a catch can, also means you don't need to find space to mount it

Reduces oil vapour drawn through the intercooler (keeping it cleaner) and subsequently burnt.

What difference did you notice Pre- post- install??

Not having space for a catch can is my issue at the moment....this was something Iain Litchfield suggested as an alternative....

Running wise no noticeable difference.
Haven't had the Intercooler off since fitting it, so can't actually say if it remains any cleaner.
However have had reason to open up the AOS and it appears to be taking oil out of the breather system, so looking good.

It's pretty new so doesn't use much anyway.

Due for a mid service oil change soon so may monitor it afterwards.
