Default Question regarding wrx hatchback modifying

Hello. I have a standard WRX hatchback and will be modding it shortly. It running circ 230 bhp standard.

Now, to a standard remap and air intake, decat would give me approx 260 bhp. would I need a bigger turbo to take me near 300+ bhp? If so, what would you recommend at a cost effective price. Would love to get the power upto 330+.

Thanks

To get to that sort of figure you should look at getting a VF34/35 or TD05 16G/18G. (obviously second hand)Your TD04 will max out at about 280bhp. You can pick up VF35's for around £250-£350, VF34's are a bit harder to get hold of but similar price.
