i had the eibach on my previous sti , have got prodrive ones now which are made by eibach to prodrive spec i believe , i do prefer the prodrive ones.

Just fitted tein springs to my blob sti chopped a coil off each and sits perfect. Ride is no different to standard just didn't sit low enough before the chop. Nothing wrong with doing it aslong as your sensible with it and do a proper job.

Well I suppose technically it does change spring rate but one coil can't change it to much you have to cut a full coil at a time so after its cut it looks the same shape as it did before so that it sits right in the cups. Had mine on for few hundred miles now with no problems and it definitely handles better reduced the understeer too.

Well they where supposed to be 35mm lowering springs so I think it's about 60mm down now. This is how it sits now.
