Hi guys, I'm back in the club with a '99 STI which I recently bought from another club member. I have a list of things I want to do to get the car how I want it... and with it, probably a list of questions ![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
My first job is a Nur Spec R exhaust which I have ready and waiting to go on! I looked under the car earlier and the exhaust that is currently fitted is a full Ninja system which appears to be sleeve fitted without bolt flanges to a decat downpipe, making it an incorrect fit for the flange on the Blitz
My first instinct was to buy a standard downpipe which would match up with my new zorst but after speaking to the previous owner it appears the car has been remapped... would it cause a problem to the way the car ran to replace the decat with a standard downpipe? My second option is to fit a decat pipe which has the correct fitting to the Blitz. Is this likely to cause boost spiking or any other issues? Also, if I take that option, what are my chances of passing an MOT next time? Any help and advice would be very gratefully received!
