The a/c rads are pretty prone to being damaged by stones on the Astra H's, it could be a small leak from that, that has dropped the gas levels and the a/c has stopped working?

Could be a leak, but i don't think this is the issue as there was 150g of refrigerant in the system at the start before the recharge and now there is 500g of refrigerant in the system, and in turning the A/C on after the recharge it didn't even come on and at that point there would have been good pressure in the system.
Thanks
