Hi all ive bin trying to do some research on my car and have followed a few threads on here with no joy i cant find any matching way on any web site regarding my vin num i have an 02 wrx and my 6th identifier on my vin is a letter and not a number then after that none of my vin plate matches any vin id ?????? Some one please help lmao

 

Your car is a UK car ?
If so then thats the reason why, they only produced one wagon and one saloon version (this goes for the UK300 which was actually just a standard wrx).
Limited models that they get in japan will have different vin numbers/codes, but these will be factory models.

ello andy i was just trying to find out what the vin meant i got so far and hit a wall the 6th letter on my vin should id the engine but mine is a letter when it should be a number i also found info on the MY01 but cant find mine witch is MY02 so scratching my head some what lol

 

my model num is GDABK8D andy

 

That's a model number. Not a chassis number.

 

I'll have a look on Sunday mate.
