Fitted turbo timer but now car won't lock???

Default Fitted turbo timer but now car won't lock???

Fitted turbo timer to my blob sti. But when I take key out and timer is running carnt lock car?? Are they all like this? Was hoping by fitting timer could lock car and walk off with it still running.

Nope not correct, wait until engine shuts off then you can lock. Or use key in door to lock

There is a way of doing it but it involves modifying your alarm apparently.

I would remove it asap, your turbo continues to be cooled after you switch off anyway.

How is that mate?There is no oil or water circulating

I dont use a timer , I just make sure the last 5 mins of driving is easy.When I pull up I leave it running for 5-10 secs and knock it off. Never had a problem
