Hi all,

As above what's roughly the max bhp a blob wrx can cope with?

I'm thinking of getting a vf28 for my car and know I will need bigger injectors but unsure of when the tmic will become a limitation?

I'd say about 300bhp

 

if you look at the Andy Forrest website, he gives a good idea of whats required for what power.

 

I would say 330-350bhp will be max on the WRX TMIC,but at this level i would go with STI TMIC or FMIC

Thanks for the replies guys. I did check Andys website but missed the STI top mount reference at 360bhp. I thought it would have run out of put long before that.

As long as It's get me to around 320ish I'll be happy with that

 

Yeah, well the VF28 should max. out at 310-330ish, so the Blob WRX TMIC should cope okay.

 

just getting the turbo checked over before buying it.
