Default Problem

Ok, so i had my drive shafts changed as I thought the problem was that but after a good drive it is not, after about 10m (heat ups) the car starts to vibrate and judder at about 20mph and stops at about 50mph, also when I full lock the car clunks and clicks as if it wants to jump, it is weird but true,

Could this be the diff, I had the car MOT on Friday and the problem was not picked up so it tells me its internal, please help!!!!

Sounds like the driveshaft cv joint! Did you fit new or second hand shafts?

Wheel bearings is my guess. Happened to me , only happened after about 10mins driving exactly what you are describing. I just changed the whole hub with a known good bearing in it.

Might be the diff also though

My guess was diff or wheel bearing but if it was the wheel bearing surely they would of picked that up on the MOT, and mine is a STI 2002 Bug JDM wagon, not got LSD or has it???

My classic started to jump and bang when turning, it turned out to be the centre diff in the gearbox.
Good luck sorting it out bud..
