Default which coolant for 95 wrx

Got a jap import and I dont know what coolant was in it before apart from it looking orange which I know not all orange coolants are the same. Whats the best/safest coolant to use and also I gather I need some coolant conditioner aswell?

Thanks

Just get old school coolant, not OAT long life coolant, I bought some from GSF, was less than 15 quid for 5L delivered

Just make sure you use 50:50 with water, never fill with 100% antifreeze/coolant.

so i dont need to use any type of conditioner to protect the gasket?

and when you say old school coolant do you mean what ever the gsf has.

Is there not a supplier for genuine subaru coolant and conditioner?

As far as I know the coolant has conditioner mixed into it. Its not like propper old school stuff that ate rubber/silicon pipes. Most modern currently made coolants are perfectly fine for use. Halfords do the stuff I use, mixed with water 50:50.

Use distiller water to dilute preferably as well, old school coolant is ethylene glycol and needs replacing every 2 years
