Advice on ECU chip / re-map + dump valve
Hello all,
I have recently acquired a 2003 Impreza STi ("blob-eye"?), and wanted to make a few mods (+ de-mods).
First is that I would like to either re-map the ECU, or put a chip in. To be honest, I'm not that technically minded and don't really understand the difference / advantages between the two. Any advice and recommendations on which re-map / chip to buy would be greatly appreciated. Complicating factor is that I live in Germany and would need to find a local supplier /fitter
Second is that the car has a dump valve fitted, which IMO adds very little benefit. In fact, it sounds a little "chavvy", if you know what I mean, and I wanted to revert to stock. Any advice on how to go about this, and if so, what parts might be needed ?
Any advice / recommendations would certainly be appreciated, and many thanks in advance
Cheers
Andre
Sorry - forgot to mention it already has the PPP

They are busy guys so may be difficult to get hold off but believe their worth it imo.
