Default Scooby failed mot on emissions

Just after some advice please. Put my bug in for mot today and it failed on co2! Max 0.30% and mine was 49% at fast idle test and on the second test was 0.65%. Natural idle max 0.50 and it was 0.55%. Just been reading giving a good thrashing before the test would get it through. Can anyone confirm please?

Failed again!! Co too high. The tester said its could be due to having a tiny little cat welded into a de-cat pipe and it's not doing its job properly. We tried everything! Fuel additives and giving it a blast and testing it again but no luck not even on idle. So got it booked in to edm motorsport on Tuesday to get another cat put on and try again. Cheers for your help though.
