Default what mods before the remap

hi i got a 2004 wrx which is standard for now. so far i have brought a full decat milltek exhaust system, k and n panel filter and a walbro fuel pump. what other mods would be good to change before remap. also if i fitted the above parts will i have to do the remap straight away or will it be ok to drive for a couple of weeks.

You can change the fuel pump and air filter, but i think the de cat needs more planning, the car wont run properly and you will get a light on the dash.

Gotta walk before you can run . Depends how deep your pocket is cos if you cant do the jobs yourself its going hit your pocket hard. Start with the up pipe, that is a short pipe between the exhaust manifold ( headers ) and the turbo.. Change that for a slip jointed straight through one.

STI TMIC wouldn't be a bad thing to have if you have the cash. Usually a few on here for around £100-150. Your get away with the full decat except the downpipe which will set off the cel light until remapped.

VF 35 pink550 cc injectors FMIC remove airbox fit K&N Tyfoon or PiperX viper full decat up pipe & headers then remap should give you around 350BHP if done right .

The tmic is under the bonnet so gets all the heat off the engine and the fmic speeks for itself .
