Default Alarm ECU

Does anyone know where to find the alarm ECU on a classic ? I need to swap the alarm ECU from a written off 2000 to a 1996 I have lost the keys for.

i belive its in the ecu .either way youl need the keys and transponder to match

o and if the 1996 is an import the uk ecu wont work, something to do with jap fuel pump wires ect ect being different.

I think both are imports but one has a keypad thingy one does not, I am thinking perhaps to try and swap the ECUs and steering column and hope for the best, Loseing the key for an import car is basically a nightmare. had a full Engine rebuild and driven the car for a total of 30 minutes in a year.
