Which panel filter - Green, Cosworth, K&N or Pro R
I have decieded to remove my powertec induction kit that came on my 2002 wrx and go back to standard air box, now need to choose the right panel filter, have narrowed it down to either Green, Cosworth, K&N or Pipercross Pro R, any recommendations?

Personally id go with a K&N havnt used foam before. But every K&N i've owned has always been of the highest quality and has lasted. I Refresh mine every 10K miles with a recharge kit.

It's got to said that both Cosworth and Green Cotton are superb value, and arguably the best panel filter you can get, however there is nothing wrong with K&N at all. I've always used them in the past (not in my Subarus) and have always delivered the goods. The only reason I haven't used them recently is because there is equally the same quality kit out there for less £.
You won't go wrong with those suggestions and don't be put off buying 2nd hand, all these will support 380+, and in most cases 400+. However to do 400 your getting to FMIC terriitory and to do that you need to do away with the standard induction box in most cases.
With a Wrx you'll be fine with a air box .

Ps I now have a RCM induction and cone K&N filter😁

Price wise including delivery best I can find is £33 for Pipercross Pro R, £34 for Cosworth, £35 for K&N and £47 for Green, as Cosworth needs replacing and Green is alot more money choice really seems between Pro R and K&N

Do not use a foam filter unless you don't mind dust and small particles as big as grains of sand getting in to your engine.
I have done several panel filter tests and use K+N. I also know that Scooby Clinic did several tests completely separately and at the time said they used K+N.
